Charter - Contract - Voucher

Charter - Contract - Voucher

Charter and contract schools are becoming increasingly popular as alternative learning programs for under-challenged and under-performing students. Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum & System (PAC) enables educators to establish and operate effective, individualized, accelerated charter or contract schools for grades 7-12. The economics and academics of the PAC system and curriculum enable schools to offer multiple grades and courses with minimum staff oversight. Moreover, students are allowed to complete courses for transcript credit as rapidly as desired or as slowly as needed with minimum dependance on subject-trained teachers. Consequently, schools can confidently address the conditions of NCLB with PAC.

Statutes vary among states regarding charter, contract and voucher schools. Some states accommodate alternative learning programs with generous financial resources and minimum constraints. Most states require strict governance and accountability policies. Educational entrepreneurs should check with local state education departments for applicable guidelines before making plans to operate alternative campuses based on charter, contract or vouchers.

Training and assistance are available from Paradigm Accerelated Curriculum & System (PAC) for charters, contracts or voucher-supported schools.
