Recovery Options

HERE IS HOW YOU CAN OPEN YOUR OWN ONE-ROOM HIGHSCHOOL IN 22 DAYS!

  1. Visit a campus which implements the Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum and System (PACS) and/or watch the Six Principles of Learning 26-minute CD to observe the accelerated, individualized learning system, furniture and procedures;

  2. Correspond with Ronald E. Johnson, President of Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum, to discuss your dream and hope for establishing and operating your own school;

  3. Assess local and state requirements for operating a school in your community, then decide which option best fits your dream, resources, philosophy and skills: private, church, charter, contract, residential, group home, industrial site;

  4. Determine the date for opening your campus. The opening date will be determined by factors such as applications to and approval by local and state agencies to operate your school, financial resources, completion of training, and available facilities. Note: schools which intend to access public funds should plan at least eight to eighteen months lead time. Private-funded programs may need as little as 22 days prior to opening date.

(Each trainee is responsible for all expenses associated with travel, meals, lodging, and personal items, as well as $120 per day for training and materials. 6. Implement the 22 day schedule. This schedule “walks” the director through the final stages of preparing the facility, building furniture, training teachers, recruiting and interviewing students and parents, setting up curriculum inventory, and conducting orientation.

  7.
